Deborah Levy (1959) is a British writer, born in Johannesburg, South Africa.
She studied theatre at Dartington College of Arts. Levy was director and writer for the MANACT Theatre Company, Cardiff, and Fellow Commoner in Creative Arts at Trinity College, Cambridge. She is a regular contributor of articles and reviews to newspapers and magazines, including The Independent, The Guardian and the New Statesman.
